My approach

Supporting families through food allergy challenges is not just my profession - it’s something I care deeply about.

I know first hand how emotional and overwhelming it can be when food becomes a source of worry, especially when you're trying to do what’s best for your child, often with minimal or no support.

That’s why I work in a way that’s both clinically grounded and personally supportive — bringing clarity, reassurance, and expert guidance to families when they need it most.

My philosophy is rooted in four core values:

Honesty

I believe in giving you clear, evidence-based advice you can trust. I don’t sugar-coat things, but I also don’t overwhelm you with jargon — just honest, practical information that helps you feel informed and empowered.

Compassion

Every family’s journey is different. I take time to listen, understand your concerns, and support you with empathy. You’ll never be rushed or dismissed — I want you to feel truly heard and supported.

Expertise

With over 15 years of experience in both NHS and private allergy care, as well as specialist allergy training, I bring specialist knowledge to every consultation. My goal is to break complex information down into something that makes sense and fits into your real life.

Relatability

I know parenting the child, let alone with food allergies is messy, emotional, and unpredictable — and that’s okay. I speak to families in a non judgemental, down-to-earth way because trust is built on real connection. Think of me as a good friend who is always on your side.

When we work together, you can expect  consultations that are welcoming, and thorough.

Whether in person or online, I aim to create a calm, judgement-free space where we can explore your child’s needs and your family’s goals together. I take a holistic view — not just looking at symptoms, but how food, health, and emotions all fit together in your day-to-day life.

What sets my approach apart is the balance between specialist clinical knowledge and genuine care. You won’t get a one-size-fits-all handout — instead, you’ll receive tailored, realistic advice that works for your family. I’m here not only to help you manage food allergies, but to restore confidence in feeding your child again.

Before we start, please know this: you don’t have to have all the answers or be doing everything “perfectly.” You’re already doing an incredible job by seeking support. Together, we’ll build a path forward — one step at a time, with kindness and clarity at the heart of it.
